30 Songs, 30 Days was het anti-Trump initiatief dat muzikaal veel indruk maakte. Inmiddels staat een vergelijkbaar initiatief, Our First 100 Days, in de startplekken.
Voor een minimale inleg van $30 garanderen artiesten als Whitney, The Range, Mitski, Tim Heidecker, Bully, Will Oldham, Beach Fossils, PWR BTTM, Jens Lekman, Strand of Oaks, Into It. Over It., Torres, Mountain Goats, Rob Crow en Twin Peaks even fantastische muziek.
De opbrengst gaat naar een aantal goede doelen waarvan verwacht wordt dat ze tijdens de eerste 100 dagen van Donald Trump in zwaar weer terecht zullen komen. Organisaties als The People’s Climate Movement (climate change), All Above All (reproductive rights), Cosecha (immigration), Southerners On New Ground (LGBTQ) en Hoosier Action (community building).
Van 20 januari tot en met 30 april zal er elke dag een download beschikbaar komen van één van de deelnemende artiesten.

Many of us woke up the morning after the election in a state of shock. Everything was different. We knew that we had to do something, and we are incredibly proud of what we are pulling together with Our First 100 Days. Not only is it a collection of great music, it is the music community coming together, supporting many important organizations who will be the first line of defense against the policies of the new administration. We hope that people not only love the music and discover some new things with this collection, but they see it as an easy way to make a contribution to a cross section of organizations that need the support right now.
