Nog één release hebben we te goed van Wild Beasts dat er na 15 jaar een einde aan breidt: een live studio album. “Last Night All My Dreams Came True” verschijnt 16 februari via Domino en zal 13 tracks bevatten die deze zomer in twee dagen zijn vastgelegd in de RAK Studios.
“It’s us as tight and slick as we ever have been. And it’s also us giving the fewest fucks we’ve ever given. There’s a sense of celebration and destructiveness combined, a sense that the fetters are off.
Not that they were ever on … but that sense of limited time before you shuffle off is very much a motivator.”
Een eerste single ‘The Devil’s Palace’ is inmiddels uitgebracht. Wild Beasts laat hierop twee nummers samensmelten, ‘The Devil’s Crayon’ (dat op hun debuut “Limbo, Panto” (2008) staat) en een nummer van het album “Present Tense” (2014)

Wild Beasts zal ook nog drie afscheidsconcerten geven in februari in de UK. Hun optreden afgelopen zomer op Best Kept Secret was dus al het definitieve afscheid van het Nederlandse publiek.
