Het alternative bluesrock duo The Blue Stones is 25 oktober op London Calling te zien. Hun release van nieuwe single ‘Shakin’ Off The Rust‘ had dus niet beter getimed kunnen worden.
Soulvolle productie van The Blue Stones
Producer Paul Meany (Mutemath, Twenty One Pilots) koos samen met de band voor een soulvolle met krachtige percussie. Het is het eerste nieuwe werk sinds 2018 van zanger/gitarist Tarek Jafar en zanger/drummer Justin Tessier. Jafar licht toe waar het nummer over gaat:
“There are times where I’ve felt I wasn’t good enough, or I didn’t deserve any happiness or success. This song is about battling the thoughts in your head that make you doubt yourself, and coming through with the confidence to make something great.”
Het London Calling optreden vindt 25 oktober plaats in Amsterdam, Paradiso.
