Met een anthem van Manic Street Preachers moet Wales wel Europees kampioen worden

Heel Nederland ziet op tegen de zomer, want wat moeten we nu met een EK zonder Oranje? Her en der roepen individuen op om Belgie naar de finale te schreeuwen. Ik heb zelf besloten om supporter van Gareth Bale te worden. Hij doet namens Wales mee met het EK. En als je de officiële EURO 2016 anthem van Wales hebt gehoord wordt voor jou de keuze ook wel heel makkelijk gemaakt.

Het is de eerste keer in 50 jaar dat Wales zich heeft gekwalificeerd. Het inspireerde The Manic Street Preachers tot het schrijven van het nummer ‘Together Stronger (C’mon Wales)’.  De video van het nummer is te bekijken op WalesOnline. Uit de tekst blijken The Manic Preachers echte voetbalfans te zijn.
